2nd Birthday Challenge completed

Have always wanted to stay in Portmeirion....my favourite has always been Battery but never thought I'd be able to afford it but by a stoke of luck got a very good deal to stay in Chantry for four nights at the beginning of the Easter holiday. To say I had a wonderful time would be an understatement. I was able to wander round all the private bits, wander around the village at night when it is all light up and enjoyed afternoon tea at the Hotel. The children had a wonderful time too, each with their own bedroom and we were able to take  M-I-L as well. The woods and the estuary walk were as idyllic and peaceful as they always are.

Chantry is the most wonderful cottage to stay in. There are 6 bedrooms and sleeps 8/9. The view from the 'master' bedroom with its own ensuite is wonderful, you can see the top of the watchtower from your bed and the whole cottage has panormaic views of the village. There is a small seating area for 2 steps away from the kitchen door as well as a large wooden table that can easily seat 8 in the garden below. The ground floor bedroom opens out onto it's own little terrace where you are shielded from view by an evergreen tree. The lounge and dining room although
